sequoya review, 2008
Selected by the Head of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's art department, I acted as art editor/designer for the 2007-2008 issue of the literary arts magazine, Sequoya Review. After creating a call for entries poster to bring in submissions, I hand-picked the art pieces to be included in the issue and developed an aesthetic that would showcase the artists, as well as the authors of the literary pieces. The issue contains hand-drawn typography and decorative elements which bring unity to the issue as a whole, while not overpowering the artwork within.
