sequoya review call for entries poster, 2008
As art director for the university's literary arts magazine, Sequoya Review, I created this call for entries poster to motivate students to submit work for the issue. Recently having the opportunity to learn letterpress, I chose to work in this new format, creating something fun and eyecatching amongst all of the other promotional items seen on campus. The upper portion of the poster was created on the press, with the letters slightly embossed into the chipboard. The informational text below was individually put on each poster using the xerox transfer process, giving the text a soft, textural feel.
